![]() ![]() That about covers it when it comes to the best Pillars of Eternity 2 Subclass and Multiclass options. Both the Chanter/Priest and the Paladin/Priest options are better support units than a single-class Priest, so I would recommend either one of them, perhaps leaning toward the Chanter/Priest, which can support your party while staying out of harm’s way. Paladin simply provides the Priest with an insane amount of survivability it doesn’t otherwise have, as well as some additional support buffs and heals. Paladin – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Multiclass If you’re looking for a dedicated support character, look no further than this build. If you go with a Wael priest, it also has access to a significant number of useful offensive debuffs. This build provides more healing potential than any other as well as basically every potential positive buff in the game. Chanter – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest MulticlassĬhanter/Priest is among the best support characters in the game. The best spells on Priest are Devotions of the Faithful (tier 4), Salvation of Time (tier 6), and Shields for the Faithful (tier 7), all of which are reasonably accessible to a multiclassed priest. It has no interesting perks at level 8 & 9, nor are its top tier spells its most useful spells. Pure priest really doesn’t gain much except for earlier access to spells. Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Multiclass Options Pure Priest It pales in comparison to what Woedica is able to offer. Woedica mainly receives a variety of debuffs causing staggering, sickening, confusion, etc. Woedica – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Subclasses It’s also one of the few Priest classes where their subclass specific spells aren’t just free versions of the same spells that are already available for purchase on the skill tree. Wael is probably the best of the Priest subclasses, as it gains access to some nasty debuff spells (Gaze of the Adragon, Confusion) as well as Mirrored Image & Llengrath’s Displaced Image, which are fantastic defensive buffs for just about anyone. Wael – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Subclasses The only notable thing about it is it gets access to the Rogue’s escape skill, which can come in handy. It gains access to a handful of weak summons and damage/debuff spells, but nothing to write home about. Skaen is probably among the weakest subclasses in my opinion. Skaen – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Subclasses It will make your Priest a bit more of an offense-oriented spellcaster. Magran’s automatic spells are almost all fire elemental damage spells, so if that sounds appealing to you, go with Magran. Magran – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Subclasses There’s nothing terribly unique that Eothas Priests get access to, but they do have some extra points to spread around since they automatically acquire a lot of the major healing support spells. Eothas – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest SubclassesĮothas gives the Priest automatic access to several healing and revival spells which most Priests can obtain just by spending a skill point. Overall these are not too useful for impactful, but then again, for the most part, Priest’s subclasses don’t change the overall playstyle of the Priest very much because all they do is give the Priest a handful of spells, none of which are the best Priest spells, and a few of which are accessible to all Priests regardless of subclass. The Berath subclass gives the Priest access to several different kinds of debuffs. Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Subclass Options Berath – Pillars of Eternity 2 Priest Subclasses ![]()
